Confirming the incident to the Daily Graphic last Saturday, the Kpandai District Police Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mr Francis Akwasi Asante, said his outfit received a distress call about the accident on Saturday evening and deployed policemen to the scene.
He said on arrival, the policemen realised that a search party had been mobilised by the community to retrieve the bodies.
