I almost gave up on my career – Kidi reveals

Ghanaian highlife and afrobeat singer, Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known as KiDi has disclosed that although things are going on well for him but he nearly gave up on music.

The Lynx entertainment signee, has been topping charts, performing on big stages and winning awards but the 2018 VGMA highlife song of the year award winner says after he won MTN Hitmaker in 2015, things were not going on pretty well as planned.

He made this known speaking in an interview with Graphic Showbiz

He said: “I almost gave up on music, before Odo and the others, I almost gave up, because things were not going as planned. I remember in December 2016, I went to church on New Year’s Eve and prayed and asked God to turn things around if this is what I was born for and that has been it since.”

The “odo” crooner proceeded by saying he’s glad things turned round for him since he’s en route to the best and he will put in the work for that to occur.
