Deputy Attorney General, Joseph Dindiok Kpemka, has hinted at more prosecutions in the coming weeks and revealed that Ghana will save close to GHS1 billion from the four high profile cases currently in court.
Addressing New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters in the Upper East Region, the Deputy Attorney General gave the assurance that the party has not reneged on its promise to prosecute alleged corrupt officials in the erstwhile Mahama government.
He said: “A number of you have called and sent messages about prosecutions, but His Excellency the president is a human rights activist, he is a lawyer of outstanding stature and he wants us to go through the process of prosecution and not the process of persecution.
“So, what we’re going to do is that all cases that we actually campaigned on are being investigated. Some of them are in court and they are major cases.
“If we succeed in these four cases, the nation will benefit in not less than GHS1 billion. We’re currently in court in respect of the NCA, SSNIT, MASLOC and COCOBOD and I can assure all of you that in the next few weeks, many more cases will come.
“I’ll only keep you in suspense and wait for your appetite to be whet when we move to court in respect of the other cases that will follow.”

Donner au malade et à sa famille une leçon de dogme de façon à ce que leurs cœurs ne soient pas attachés à un autre qu’Allah. 6. Leur faire savoir que la façon de soigner est différente de celle des sorciers et des charlatans et que le Coran recèle guérison et miséricorde, comme l’a informé Allah le Puissant et le Majestueux. 7. Diagnostiquer son cas : pour cela poser des questions au malade pour s’assurer de la présence de tous les symptômes (…) ». Nous pouvons à titre d’exemple faire le parallèle avec un rendez-vous chez le médecin ; ce dernier ne peut vous prescrire une ordonnance sans au préalable vous avoir ausculté et interrogé sur les différents symptômes que vous ressentez physiquement.
